And they could go to the GT class either, because Corvette is there.

LMP1 and WEC are a natural destination.

I honestly would prefer to see them as an engine manufacturer in F1 (assuming they hadn't wasted all that money on Man U).

Would having Corvette and Cadillac in the same series be as good an idea...?

That's why I said WEC is a natural fit, Corvette doesn't do WEC, except for the Le Mans round.

F1 is too complicated right now. If Red Bull splits into two teams, with Audi buying a part of the operation and moving it to Germany and Renault coming back as a full factory team, operating from the current RBR location in Milton Keynes, F1 would be more attractive to manufacturers again.

Hmm, I wasn't really thinking about the prototypes (more the new ATS GT3 being built for TUSC and LM duty though I am not sure that shape is conducive to le Sarthe).

GT in WEC also works, as they would only battle with Corvette at Le Mans. And Ferrari, Aston and Porsche could really use a new competitor in that class.

Cadillac has a factory team in PWC. I doubt they're gonna spend that much money on a European series.

It isn't a European series, it's a world series. The ELMS is a European series.
